Welcome to Jambo Tours! We are delighted to have you as our valued customer. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By accessing or using our website (www.jambo-tours.com) or booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:
By using our services or booking a tour with Jambo Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at info@jambo-tours.com.
Deposit and Payment Policy
To reserve your spot on one of our tours or services, a deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure the tour and allow us to begin making the required arrangements. This deposit will be deducted from the final cost of the selected package. Full payment is due 21 days before the tour start date. You will be sent an invoice and payment instructions.
If you book a tour less than 21 days in advance of the tour start date, the full payment is required at the time of booking.
Jambo tours accepts 2 forms of payment for our tours:
Credit Card Payments:
You may pay using Stripe, a secure online payment platform. Your credit card information will be processed securely, and your payment will be encrypted for security.
Bank Transfers:
You may also choose to make a direct bank transfer. Please contact us for bank account details if you prefer this payment method.
Price Changes: Prices are subject to change without notice. However, once you have made a booking and payment, the price for your tour or service is locked in and will not be subject to any additional charges to those outlined in your itinerary.
Refund Policy
Cancellation by the Customer:
If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply, and the cancellation fee will depend on the timing of your cancellation, as follows:
– Cancellations made 21 days or more before the tour start date: No Cancellation Fee will be charged.
– Cancellations made within 14-20 days of the tour start date: 25% Cancellation Fee or option to reschedule within the next 6 months.
– Cancellations made within 3-14 days of the tour start date: 50% Cancellation Fee.
– Cancellations made within 48 hours of tour start date: 100% Cancellation Fee.
Please note that rescheduled tours may be subject to increased prices due to the time of year the tour is rescheduled to.
Cancellation by Jambo Tours:
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a tour or service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns, or insufficient bookings), we will provide you with a full refund or offer an alternative tour or service.
Refund Processing Time:
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days from the date of cancellation approval. Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process the refund. We will require you to provide us with the account details to credit the refund to.
Changes or deviations to the proposed itinerary
We reserve the right to modify tour itineraries, including the order of activities, due to unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns. However we will make all efforts to ensure equivalent alternatives that will not compromise the quality of the tour.
Health & Safety
At Jambo Tours we are committed to ensuring that all clients are safe on our tours. We carry out extensive risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate risks to our clients.
Health and Fitness:
Some of our tours and activities may require a certain level of physical fitness and may involve physical exertion, exposure to natural elements, and varying levels of risk. It is your responsibility to assess your own health and fitness level and inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements that may affect your ability to participate in the tour or activity.
Medical Information:
You must provide accurate medical information to us before participating in any tour or activity. In case of a medical emergency, we may use this information to ensure your safety and well-being.
Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. Jambo Tours is not responsible for any costs or losses incurred due to unforeseen events.
Liability
Jambo Tours is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, loss, delay, or any other incident that may occur during the tour or service. Participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with travel and agree to assume all such risks.
Jambo Tours is committed to providing you with the best safari experience, and our guides will make every effort to ensure you encounter a diverse range of wildlife. However, it is important to note that the nature of the savannah and its inhabitants is inherently unpredictable. While we strive to showcase a variety of animals during your safari, including the Big Five, the sighting of specific creatures cannot be guaranteed due to their natural behaviors and the vastness of their habitats. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will cherish the unique encounters and experiences that the African wilderness offers.
Special Requests
At Jambo Tours, we understand that each traveller may have unique preferences and special requirements, including but not limited to dietary requirements, accommodation requests, accessibility needs, and other specific preferences. We are committed to making your experience as enjoyable as possible and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these special requests.
Commitment to Fulfilment:
We are dedicated to meeting your special requests to the best of our abilities. If you have any special requirements, please inform us at the time of booking or well in advance of your tour or service. We will do our utmost to make suitable arrangements to meet your needs.
Limitations:
While we strive to fulfil all special requests, please be aware that some requests may be subject to availability and may not always be feasible. We will communicate with you in advance if we are unable to accommodate a particular request.
Not Liable for Unfulfilled Requests:
It is important to note that if, for any reason, all special requests outside the provided tour itinerary cannot be fulfilled, Jambo Tours is not liable for any inconvenience or disappointment caused.

please note that Jambo Tours reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes, however, any changes will not affect tours that are confirmed with us at the time of amendment.
